12.
Plug the SCS service connector into the MES connector. Do not use a jumper wire.
13.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
14.
Watch the SRS indicator. It comes on for about 6 seconds and goes off. Unplug the SCS service connector from the MES connector within 4
seconds after the indicator goes off.
15.
When the SRS indicator comes on again, plug the SCS service connector into the MES connector within 4 seconds after the indicator comes on.
16.
When the SRS indicator goes off, unplug the SCS service connector from the MES connector within 4 seconds. The SRS indicator blinks twice to
indicate that the memory has been cleared.
17.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and wait for 10 seconds.
18.
Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). The SRS DTCs are cleared if the indicator comes on for 6 seconds and then goes off.

If the SRS DTCs are cleared, turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

If the SRS DTCs fail to clear, repeat the process two more times. If the SRS DTCs fail to clear again, check which DTCs are set, and
troubleshoot in accordance with the appropriate service manual.
