In Florida, Navigation Unit Reboots When Destination Is Entered
SYMPTOM
When a vehicle is in Florida, and you enter a destination into the navigation system, the system reboots.
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to only vehicles with a Real-Time Traffic subscription. If the client does not subscribe to Real-Time Traffic, but complains
about the navigation system rebooting, refer to the applicable service manual troubleshooting.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the navigation unit software using the patch CD.

1. Verify the client complaint by entering the client's destination information into the navigation system, and see if it reboots.
Does the navigation system reboot?
Yes - Go to step 2.
No - This service bulletin does not apply. Continue with normal troubleshooting.
