2. Reinstall the seat-back cover/pad in the reverse order of removal See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat-Back
Cover Replacement.
3. Reinstall the front seat back panel See: Body and Frame/Seats/Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat-Back Cover Replacement.
4. Install the front passenger's seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation.
5. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures.
6. Set the seat-back in the normal position, and make sure there is nothing on the front passenger's seat.
7. Clear any DTCs with the HDS See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
8. Do the ODS unit initialization See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning/ODS Unit
Initialization.
9. Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode; the SRS indicator
should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
