NOTE: If pressure relief valve is not working correctly, there may be partial failure of power steering assistance
The tightening torque for the pressure accumulator hose to steering pump gland nut has changed from 15 Nm to 25 Nm (18 ft lb) for the new pump.
The tightening torque for the pressure hose to steering pump gland nut has changed from 25 Nm to 35 Nm (29 ft lb) for the new pump. An "5" or
"countersink" is stamped on the nut head of this fitting and should be used to identify the new torque requirement.
