Speaker System Components, Removing and Installing

Speaker System Components, Removing And Installing

1 - Rear speaker (active)

-  Low and high frequency speaker assembly
-  Replace as an assembly only

2 - Rear speaker Bose (active)

-  Audi Bose system only

3 - High frequency speaker, front

-  Connected to front low frequency speaker
-  Audi Gamma radio system (non-Bose) only

4 - Speaker enclosure (bass reflex box)

-  Mounted on inner side of door trim
-  Mounting location for low frequency speaker (non-Bose radio system)
-  Mounting location for Bose speaker (including amplifiers)

Rear speaker, removing and installing (including Bose system)

-

Open luggage compartment and remove three screws -C- from bottom of rear panel (sheet metal) -B-.

-

Remove speaker from filler panel -A-.

-

Remove speaker connector.

Install in reverse order of removal.

Speaker enclosure (bass reflex box) and high frequency speaker, removing and installing
