The following will be added to the Audi 100 Repair Manual, Automatic Transmission 01F, at the next reprinting.
ABS CONTROL MODULE WIRING CONNECTION, CHECKING
The pin positions of the 35-pin connector for the ABS Control Module (J104) changed with the introduction of a new control module in 07/92.
Note:
The ABS Control Module is located under the left rear seal bench.
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) is located in the electronic box under the carpeting of the right footwell

Connect test box VAG 1598 with adapter cable VAG 1598/5 to wiring harness connector for TCM (J21 7)

Separate connector for ABS Control Module

Check wiring connection between 35-pin connector of ABS Control Module (J104) and TCM (J217) with digital multimeter Fluke 83 (US 1119) and
auxiliary cables from VAG 1594:

It multimeter reads (infinity) Ohms (no continuity), check for open circuit according to wiring diagram, repair as necessary
