Speedometer Gear, A/T: Service and Repair
Magnetic Ring

Remove left flanged shaft, refer to Differential Output (Flanged) Shaft Replacement. See: Front Final Drive, Automatic Transaxle/Service and
Repair

Pull magnetic ring off flanged shaft.

-

Apply multi-purpose grease to the face end of the new magnetic ring and fit onto flanged shaft.

NOTE:  When installing, make sure that the magnetic ring engages in the grooves of the flanged shaft (arrows).
