Replace complete CV joint only
Pressing off - Fig. 1

4. Boot with cap

With vent hole, for CV joint diameters 100 mm (4.0 in) and 108 mm (4.2 in)
Check for cracks and abrasion
Drive off with mandrel
Before assembling, seal with D3 on front side of CV joint

5. Splined shaft

Left and right sides have different lengths

6. CV boot

Check for cracks and abrasion

7. Boot clip

Always replace
Tightening - Fig. 3

8. Circlip

Always replace
When assembling, install in ball hub ring groove

9. CV joint, outer

98 mm (3.9 in) outer diameter
Replace only complete CV joint
Pressing off - Fig. 4
Installing: drive joint on at the shaft with plastic hammer, engage up to circlip
