Installing

Install drive plate along with disc 1 and 3.0 mm shim 2

^

index mark (arrow) on disc 1 must face torque converter

^

disc 1, Part No. 035 105 301A

^

shim 2, Part No. 035 105 303A

CAUTION

Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your Parts Department for latest information.

tighten drive plate, only to 30 Nm (22 ft lb), before checking/adjusting

CHECKING/ADJUSTING

^

find measurement A, (i.e. inside clearance, drive plate)

^

find measurement B, (i.e. average distance from drive plate to cylinder block, measured at three different sites along circumference)

^

calculate test measurement:
