Adjusting Output Shaft
It is only necessary to re-adjust the drive pinion as specified in the instructions below if the drive gear set is replaced. If other parts that likewise affect
the installation position of the drive pinion are replaced, the adjustment should be carried out using the installation position determined previously
(actual measurement). Refer to "Pinion, Determining Installation Position (Actual Measurement)" at Rear Final Drive, Ring and Pinion Adjusting. See:

Clamp final drive in vice.

Insert large outer race for tapered roller bearing into housing without shim.

Insert small outer race for tapered roller bearing into housing.

Insert pinion.
Heat inner race for tapered roller bearing to approx. 120°C (248°F) and install onto pinion without spacer sleeve and press in fully.
