Handset Cradle, Removing and Installing

The cradle (arrow) is attached to the driver armrest with four screws.

-

Lift phone from cradle.

-

Remove rubber screw caps from two rear screws.

-

Remove four screws and lift out cradle.

Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing

-

Remove upper handset cradle screws and remove upper handset cradle -3-.

-

Remove lower handset cradle screws and remove lower handset cradle -2-.

-

Remove handset bracket screws and remove handset bracket -1-.

Installing

-

Install handset bracket -1- into tray so that front bracket flange engages front lip of tray.

-

Using a magnetic screwdriver, install and tighten handset bracket screws.

-

Install lower handset cradle -2- onto bracket so slotted end faces forward.

CAUTION:

Do not over-tighten lower handset cradle screws or damage will result.

Snug lower handset cradle screws, do not over-tighten.

-

Install upper handset cradle -3- so that handle faces rearward.

-

Tighten upper handset cradle screws.

-

Install rubber plugs in rear screw holes of handset cradle.
