set digital multimeter Fluke 83 (US 1119) to 2 Volt range

connect multimeter between sockets 5 and 1 of Test box VAG 1598
^
start engine
^
raise and lower engine speed between 1000 and 4000 RPM
^
must be approximately 0.3-1.0 V depending on engine RPM
