Sunroof / Moonroof Drain: Service and Repair

Water drain hoses, cleaning 

CAUTION!  Part numbers are for reference only. Always check with your Parts Department for latest in formation.

Front 

Front water drain hoses are routed through the A-pillars and discharge above the front door lower hinges.

Clean front drain hoses through sunroof opening. 

Rear 

Rear water drain hoses are routed in D-pillars and end behind wheel housings.

- 

Clean rear drain hoses from wheel housing (lower) end.

Note:  For cleaning, it is recommended that an approx. 2300 mm (90.55 in.) long probe is constructed from a speedometer cable core, e.g. from Part
No.327 957 803AF

This is then pushed through entire length of drain hoses, at front from above downward, and at rear from below upward.
