On vehicles with vacuum pump

Caution:

All vehicles fitted with a vacuum pump must be converted. Refer to the appropriate fuel injection system & ignition system

Remove vacuum pump or end cover.
Remove transfer flange.
Pull piston out of camshaft
Replace O-ring seals A, B, C, and D
Reinstall piston, transfer flange and vacuum pump
Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

Cylinder head, left rear

Remove Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor housing.
Remove bolt from CMP sensor plate.
Carefully pry out sensor plate using screwdriver.

Screw in counter holder for seal extractor 2085/1

Remove seal using extractor tool 3240 or 2085 and remove bolt 2085/1.
Clean bearing and sealing surfaces.

NOTE:

Do not oil sealing lip or outer edge of seal before pressing in.

Using insertion tool and sleeve 3241 press seal in fully

.

Tightening torque: CMP sensor plate 20 Nm (15 ft lbs)
