Rear
Rear wheel bearing housing, removing and installing
Note: The illustrations show the rear axle without stabilizer bar. Deviations in the illustration for rear axle with stabilizer bar are not critical here.
Removing
- On vehicles with alloy wheels, pull cover off with special tool 3208.
- Remove bolt and washer assembly (only with vehicle standing on wheels).
- Remove wheel.
- Remove brake caliper (arrow) and tie up to body with wire.
- Remove brake disc.
- Remove wheel bearing housing from trapezoidal arm (lower arrow).
- Remove wheel speed sensor from wheel bearing housing (upper arrow).
