Disconnect ATF lines -1- and -2-.

-

Install a length of hose approximately 18 mm (3/4 in.) inside diameter on line -1-.

Secure hose with hose clamp.

Position other end of hose in a suitable container.

Warning

Wear eye protection

Using compressed air, apply air pressure into transmission cooler line -2- until no more oil is expelled from the hose.

Note

Air pressure must not be higher than 10 bar (145 psi).

Reposition hose on line -2-, secure hose and repeat procedure, blowing air into line -1-.

AFTER CLEANING PROCEDURE:

-

Reinstall lines and torque to 25 Nm. (18 ft lb).
