Remove front crossmember (arrow) below exhaust system.

Remove complete exhaust system.

Remove heat shields.
-
Remove crossmember below driveshaft.
-
If there are no markings, mark position of flange -A- relative to rear final drive -B- with paint.

Loosen driveshaft mounting screws at rear final drive and at automatic transmission.

Loosen center bearing mounting bolts.
-
Attach alignment fixture 3298 and tighten plastic nuts.

Unscrew driveshaft mounting screws at rear final drive and at automatic transmission.
-
Support driveshaft and alignment fixture and remove center bearing mounting bolts from body.
-
Take out driveshaft and alignment fixture.
CAUTION: Driveshaft must be extended for transporting.
INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.
