Idle Speed: Adjustments

AIR/FUEL (CO%)

1.

Air/fuel ratio is computer controlled and is not adjustable. If out of specification, refer to Computers and Control Systems.

IDLE SPEED

1.

Idle speed is controlled by the idle stabilizer and the  Motronic control unit. Engine idle speed is not adjustable, if idle speed is out of
specification, refer to Computers and Control Systems.

Base Idle Speed: ...............................................................................................................................................................................  770 to 830 RPM 

IGNITION TIMING

1.

Ignition timing is determined by the control unit map and feedback signals and is not adjustable. If ignition timing is out of specification, refer to 
Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Adjustments.
