Cause:

Noise is caused by contact between inside edge of brake shoes and backing plates.

Production Change:

Brass rivet has been installed in brake shoe contact area of backing plate.

Service Solution:

Remove rear brake drums and shoes.

Lubricate contact points on backing plates.

Chamfer brake linings.
