Windshield Wiper Motor & Linkage Replace

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and disconnect wiring harness connector at motor.

2.

Remove nut securing crank to wiper motor, while holding crank and remove crank.

3.

Remove bolts securing wiper motor to support and remove motor.

4.

Connect new motor to harness, run two revolutions and turn wiper switch to off position. Wiper motor should stop in park position.

5.

Reverse procedure to install wiper motor, making sure crank is installed in proper position, Fig. 7.

LINKAGE

1.

Remove wiper motor as outlined above.

2.

Lift wiper arm off glass and lift cap over retaining nut while lowering arm.

3.

Remove nut and washer securing wiper arm.

4.

Remove nuts, washer and spacers securing pivot to cowl.

5.

Remove bolt securing wiper frame and remove linkage as an assembly.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
