If the starter does not work, check and repair the following:

^

Battery voltage is OK.

^

Battery and starter connections are not corroded.

^

There is current at terminal 50 of starter when ignition key is turned to start position.

If tests prove OK, the problem may be a broken starter bearing housing.

Prevent recurrence of this problem by installing a starter support when replacing starter.
