Subject:

Rothenburg Radio - Inoperable/Will Not Turn On/Off

Cause:

Switch malfunctions.

Production Change:

Improved switches in new and rebuilt radios. 100-hour test on all radios by supplier.

As of:

May 1986

Service Solution:

Replace radio.

Improved radios are marked with small sticker "WC4" (Rebuilt) or "WC3" (New). Rebuilt radio may have lower production date but must be marked
"WC4".

NOTE:

Radio can be identified by the paper label glued on top of radio. Right side of label contains two boxes with numbers. Three-digit number in
upper box is manufacturing date. Three-digit number in lower box is packing date. When checking radio for production date, use only
manufacturing date in upper box.
