Note

In the following test, computer control unit specifies average fuel consumption of 23.5 MPG.

Example:

with a full fuel tank, range reading (Mi) of approx. 400-500 mi is displayed.

switch ignition OFF

-

press reset button and hold

-

switch ignition ON

-

release reset button

Display: range reading (Mi)

Fuel level must be displayed on fuel gauge in instrument cluster.

If fuel level is not displayed, - check fuel gauge

If fuel level is displayed, - check wires between fuel gauge and control unit

If no break, - replace computer control unit
