Connect Voltmeter Between Contacts

connect voltmeter between contacts 15 and 6

Gauge Sensor Connector

-

connect tester VW 1301 to outer contacts of fuel gauge sensor connector

-

adjust tester as follows:

^

empty 544

^

full 60

-

switch ignition ON

^

specified value with tester set to 544 approx 1.5 V

^

specified value with tester set to 60 approx 5.6 V

If specified voltages are not attained check for break in wiring using current flow diagram
