use adaptor (arrow) to attach test wire onto ignition coil terminal 1

-

connect CO tester according to manufacturer's instructions

-

measure CO at tail pipe

-

do NOT run air conditioner (if equipped)

-

run engine until oil temperature is above 80°C (176°F)

-

if fuel lines were disconnected or replaced, bring engine speed to 3,000 rpm several times and let idle for at least 2 minutes

-

turn OFF all electrical equipment

NOTE:  While checking and adjusting, radiator fan must not be running.

-

check idle speed

specification: 925 ± 75 rpm

-

adjust if necessary to 925 rpm (arrow)
