Steering Rack ("Short Rack") Assembly, Preparation/Installing

clamp removed steering gear assembly in vise
^
remove banjo bolts on valve housing (arrows)
^
remove banjo bolt from rack housing (arrow)
^
loosen hose clamp
^
push boot back slightly
^
loosen flange mounting bolts (left arrows)
^
loosen mounting bolts for cover approximately 5.0 mm (right arrows)
^
push out rack housing tube by turning pinion
