Clutch Pedal Assembly: Service and Repair

CAUTION:
Do not let brake fluid touch painted surfaces. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air and must be replaced every 2 years. Brake fluid
pumped out of system when bleeding brakes must not be used again.
Only use new brake fluid that meets SAE recommendation J1703 and conforms to Motor Vehicle Standard 116.
Do not add or mix DOT 5 silicone type brake fluid with the brake fluid in car. Severe component corrosion may result. Corrosion could
lead to clutch and brake system failure.

CAUTION:  If clutch pedal does not fully return, check for the following:
air in hydraulic system
pedal return spring jamming
tight pedal bushings

Note:  Clutch pedal must not rest against clutch master cylinder or excessive clutch disc wear will occur

Note:  Always use new self-locking nuts and circlips after removing. Lubricate bolts lightly with MoS2 grease
