Minimum Requirement
In January, 1988, a Service Action will be initiated to remove carbon deposits from intake valves on certain Audi models. The Carbon Blaster,
manufactured by Kent-Moore, is being introduced as minimum requirement, not only to facilitate the Service Action, but also for General Repairs.
Should your dealership possess a BMW franchise at the same location, you may already have this equipment. If this is the case, notify your Region/
Distributor Service Department to cancel this shipment and order the Audi Adapters marked with an asterisk (*) on the service parts list.
Every participating dealer in the Automatic Supply Program will be shipped one equipment package, freight prepaid. Shipments are anticipated to
commence the week of January 5, 1988, and conclude the week of January 12, 1988.
Should you decide not to receive this equipment by automatic shipment, please notify your Regional/Distributor service department before December 29,
1987.
If you do not participate in the Automatic Supply program or if you wish to order additional equipment, please notify your Regional/Distributor Service
department by December 29, 1987. Individual pieces of the package may be ordered via teleprocessing after the automatic shipment takes place,
excluding adapters.
