As of September, 1983, the cooling systems of ALL Audi vehicles are filled at the factory with a mixture of water and an antifreeze solution with
corrosion inhibitors. This coolant mixture should be used year-round. When replacing coolant/antifreeze solution in all Audi models, only a
phosphate-free product must be used.

The new product, Part No. ZVW 237 102, has additional corrosion inhibiting agents.

Note This coolant may be mixed with pre-9/83 factoryfilled, phosphate-free antifreeze, Part No. ZVW 244 101.

The new coolant will supercede the old coolant, Part No. ZVW 244 101, when supply is exhausted, and may be used in ALL types, ALL Model Year,
watercooled Audis.

CAUTION

Antifreeze other than specified by Audi may cause corrosion of cooling system thus leading to engine overheating and damage.
