Work sequence

-

switch ignition ON

-

select all computer functions in sequence, pressing function selector switch (1) and bottom of switch (2) to select time display

If it is not possible to select all functions, - check function selector switch
-

repeat test

If it still is not possible to select all functions, or if computer display is dim:

-

remove instrument cluster. (Do not detach connectors)

-

check printed circuit for day/night illumination as follows:

Connections

-

connect voltmeter between connections for day illumination (A)

-

switch ignition ON

Specified value:

^

12.0 V (approx.)

-

connect voltmeter between connections for night illumination (B)

-

switch headlights ON and turn dimmer to full bright position specified value:

^

12.0 V (approx.)

If one of the specified readings is not attained, - repair break in wiring using current flow diagram

If specified readings are attained, - replace day/night illumination bulbs
