-

connect 1315 A/1 in series with differential pressure regulator

-

connect US 1119 to adapter and set to DCA (mA) range

-

switch ignition ON

current reading to differential pressure regulator must be displayed

If current reading is not displayed, - check resistance of differential pressure regulator

approx. 17.5 - 21.5 ohms

If resistance not OK, - replace differential pressure regulator If resistance OK, - check fuse 24 in central electric

If fuse 24 OK, - repair wiring using current flow diagram

set US 1119 to DCA range

-

start engine and let idle

Note If engine does not run after connecting adapter, the terminals of the adapter (to differential pressure regulator) are not connected properly.
Reconnect terminals of adapter.

-

read mA displayed US 1119 (OXS sensor disconnected)

Graph

-

locate mA reading from US 1119 on graph

-

find corresponding voltage reading on graph

Example:

If 10 amps are displayed on US 1119, corresponding voltage range is 2.37-2.54 V

-

compare voltage range obtained from graph with voltage read at beginning of test

Voltage must fall within voltage range obtained from graph, If voltage is not within range, - check KE-Jetronic settings or
-

replace KE-Jetronic control unit.

If voltage is within range, but do not correspond to mileage readings
