drill out rivets (arrows) in C-pillar

-

lift C-pillar trim slightly and remove with plastic wedge

Note

Always install new gap cover molding and C-pillar trim.

starting at arrow, remove gap cover molding 1

Note

On vehicles produced thru Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 44-G-093745, cover cap was secured with two rivets. Drill out both rivets before
removing roof trim molding. When reinstalling or replacing roof trim molding on these vehicles, always install new type mounting clip and press on type
cover cap.

starting at rear (D-pillar), unclip end of roof trim molding with cover cap and remove

roof trim molding is glued in area from A-pillar to C-pillar
