Brake pressure regulator (revised version), adjusting

A revised brake pressure regulator was gradually introduced into production 100/200 vehicles. The new regulator can also be installed in vehicles with
the earlier version regulator.

Note

Brake system must be filled with fluid and free of air (properly bled).

lift vehicle off ground so that load is off rear axle

^

press lever of brake pressure regulator (arrow) toward rear as far as possible

^

loosen nut 1

^

insert 9.0 mm diameter drill bit 2 between spring and roller

^

tighten nut 1 to 25 N-m (18 ft.lb.)

^

remove drill bit

^

hook spring into plastic roller
