Engine - Hot Start Difficulties

Cause:

Reduced output from cooling fan due to incorrect polarity at fan electrical connector.

Production Change:

Concerns only kit, P/N 443 998 219, (see Protraining Booklet: Audi 5000 Update).

Service Solution:

Check polarity of wires at connector. Red/black wire should be plus (+); brown wire should be minus (-).
