Gasoline and Engine Performance

As an Audi owner, you expect your car to start easily, warm up rapidly, and run smoothly under all operating conditions. However, the high tech engines
produced today require proper care to perform as they were designed. A major concern among many auto manufacturers is carbon deposit build-up
caused by the type of gasoline you use. Knowing a few important facts about gasoline can help eliminate this problem and save you some valuable time
and money.

Although gasolines differ from one supplier to another, there is a common thread. All gasolines contain properties that can cause deposits to collect on
essential engine components, specifically fuel injectors and intake valves. Although most gasoline brands include additives to keep engine and fuel
systems clean, they are not equally effective.

After an extended period of using inadequate fuels, built-up carbon deposits can rob your engine of peak performance. And carbon deposits like those in
the following illustration can lead to other engine performance problems, such as:
