Seat Belt Height Adjustment

Note

Vehicles built after 5/83 already have the additional holes in the B-pillar.

-

drill 18.5 mm hole at marked location

-

deburr edge of hole and paint exposed bare metal surface

-

place fitting holder on removed B-pillar trim, align and mark hole B or C

-

make 19.4 mm hole in B-pillar trim at marked location

Seat Belt Height Adjustment

-

remove fitting 4 and washer 5 from holder 3 and insert holder into B-pillar through hole

-

coat threads of adapter 4 with locking compound, Part No. D 000 600

Note

Adapter may already have a reddish coating on the threads. If so, it is not necessary to apply additional locking compound.
