Battery - Discharged

Cause:

With all electrical consumers (lights, radio, defogger, wipers, heated seats, etc.) on and driving in stop-and-go traffic, battery may not stay fully charged.

Production Change:

Modified alternator ratio. Pulley (59 mm) and 11.2 x 825 belt used on all NF engines.

Service Solution:

Install kit, P/N 034 998 119. On vehicles before VIN 44 F 098287 check harmonic balancer. If OD of balancer is not 163 mm, install pulley, P/N 034
