Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

Steering lock/cylinder, removing/installing 

Work sequence

- 

disconnect battery ground (-) cable

- 

pull off horn pad

- 

remove steering wheel

- 

loosen clamp for steering column switch

- 

disconnect electrical connectors

- 

pull off steering column switch

- 

remove instrument cluster (arrows)

- 

remove speedometer cable at transmission (arrow)

- 

pull instrument cluster forward

- 

remove speedometer cable at speedometer

- 

pull off electrical connectors from instruments and take out instrument cluster
