Engine Control Module: Description and Operation

The CIS-E III engine control system uses two separate control units. The control units are located behind the right and left kick panels. They are
connected together electrically by the vehicle's wire harness.
Each control unit contains its own fault memory. During the self diagnosis display, any information stored in the ignition control unit will be
displayed first. After that has been completed, the information from the fuel injection control unit will be displayed.
