Central Mounted

Central Flap Vacuum Unit (for Footspace And Defrost Outlets)

1. Remove footwell outlet. See procedure as follows.

Footwell Air Outlet

a. Remove storage shelf on driver's side.
b. Remove cover under glove compartment.
c. Remove center vent/control panel.
d. Remove ashtray.
e. Remove instrument panel support at center tunnel.

Loosen mounting bolts.

g. Remove heater box outlet channels, rear.
h. Remove footwell air outlet.
i.

Installation is reverse of removal.

2. Remove vacuum hoses from connections.
3. Remove 2 screws A.
4. Remove screw B.
5. Remove vacuum unit.
6. Install vacuum unit.
7. Adjust Vacuum unit. Select from procedures described in Vacuum Unit for Central Flap, Adjustments.
8. Install footwell outlet.
