1. 45 N-m (33 ft.lb.)

^ always replace

2. Link rod

^ 3 mm shorter than previous versions
^ Part No. 893 407 465 A
^ identification: groove approx. 15 mm below head
^ if installed, link rod on opposite side must be same length

^ always replace

A link rod shortened by 3 mm is installed on the following vehicles:

Front wheel drive:

from VIN 8AM 301 238

All wheel drive:

from VIN 8AM 280 001

The shorter link rod can be identified by a groove approximately 15 mm under the head of the rod.
