Longitudinal Acceleration Switch - Not Installed in Production

All 80/90 quattro vehicles, up to and including March production, are produced without the longitudinal acceleration switch shown on page 45.10 of the
Repair Manual.

The longitudinal acceleration switch is not required for effective operation of the ABS system.

Do not install the longitudinal acceleration switch in vehicles not originally equipped with it from the factory. Vehicles produced during April 1988 will
be equipped with the switch.
