If brake fluid is leaking at the connection of the fluid reservoir to the master cylinder, check the rubber plugs (arrows).

Production:

The material of the rubber plugs was changed to EDPM beginning with the following vehicles:

August 1991

VIN 4A NN 014 707 

May 1992

VIN 8C PA 000 001

Service:

Install new rubber plugs as shown in illustration.

Note 
Coat new rubber plugs with brake fluid on the inside only before installing reservoir.
