When replacing the cooling fan motor (Part No. 431 959 455 L or 191 959 455 AC) use replacement part: Part No. 165 959 455 AE

Caution

The hard shell connector on the replacement radiator cooling fan motor is differently shaped than the factory unit. To prevent damage to the cooling fan
motor, the wiring harness must be changed as follows.

Service

-

Disconnect cooling fan harness conne'etor and cut the wires off right behind the housing

-

Remove old rubber protective cap

-

Push rubber grommets onto wires as shown

-

Strip wires and properly crimp terminals to wires

-

Insert terminals into housing as shown
