CONDITION
Metallic creaking or groaning noise from rear suspension.
PRODUCTION
If the rear coil springs have been installed upside down, the inner circumferences of the springs will rub on the shoulders of the upper and lower spring
seats.
SERVICE
- Remove and reinstall springs
When installed properly, the paint marks on the rear coil springs will be against the bottom spring seats. If the paint marks are at the top, remove and
reinstall the coil springs so that the paint marks are at the bottom.
