Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove toothed timing belt, refer to Timing Components.
2. Remove toothed belt sprocket from crankshaft.

3. Remove oil seal using seal remover tool No. 3203, or equivalent.
4. Clean running and sealing surfaces.

INSTALLATION

NOTE:  Do not oil sealing lip or outer edge of sea/ before pressing in.

1. Push oil seal over sleeve tool No. 3202/1 from retractor 3202, or equivalents.

2. Press in oil seal flush with seal installer tool No. 3265, or equivalent, and center crankshaft bolt.
3. Reverse remaining removal steps to install.
