Brake Pad: Testing and Inspection

Brake pad thickness, checking
- Visually check thickness of outer brake pad through wheel opening (using flashlight if necessary).
If the pad thickness (including backing plate) is down to 7 mm (0.276 in), the brake pads have reached their wear limit and have to be replaced.
