A - Pivoting clip in locked position
B - Pivoting clip in released position
^  Indentation -1- in pivoting clip must engage

^  When tensioned, the ends of spring -1- must be positioned to left and right of operating lever -2-.

Note:  Spring tension pushes the operating lever and lock cylinder into the center position.
