Toothed Belt: Diagrams

Toothed camshaft drive belt assembly

1. 30 Nm (22 ft lb) plus additional 1/2 turn (180°)

2. Camshaft locking plate

Side with inscribed lettering always faces camshaft.
Large bore in side is used to correctly position camshafts.

3. Camshaft sprocket
4. Toothed belt tensioner 45 Nm (33 ft lb).
5. Toothed belt
6. Upper toothed belt covers
7. 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
8. 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
