Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

Removing

-

Switch ignition OFF.

CAUTION!:

BEFORE disconnecting the ECM harness connector, switch the ignition OFF and WAIT at least 30 seconds. Failure to do so may damage the
ECM.

Trim Panel Removal

-

Remove cover from lower right A-pillar.

-

Pull back carpeting in right front foot well.

Panel Screw Locations

-

Remove screws (arrows) from electronics box cover.

-

Carefully pull upper and lower cover out of electronics box.

-

Disconnect ECM from electronics box.

Brace

-

Carefully remove brace -3- along with attached parts.
